Sinzo Aanza: Dein Wille sei Kin

Sinzo Aanza, bildender Kunstler und Schriftsteller, wirft seinen Blick auf das Leben in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo. „Que ta volonté soit Kin“ (Dein Wille sei Kin) Aanzas Theaterstuck von 2018, stellt das Leben auf der Avenue de la Liberation in Kinshasa (Kin) dar, ein Ort von Stromausfallen, Kneipenbesuchen, Fußballspielen im Fernsehen und Sex. Nach dem kongolesischen Motto, man müsse im Leben schauen, dass man halt klarkommt, kämpfen die Menschen gegen Armut und Verzweiflung, indem sie träumen oder indem sie im Land oder in ein anderes Land migrieren, in der Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben.

Your will shall be Kin Que ta volonté soit Kin
Sinzo Aanza, visual artist and writer, focuses in his work on life in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Que ta volonté soit Kin (Your Will Shall Be Kin) Aanza’s play published and performed in 2018, shows life on Liberation Avenue in Kinshasa (Kin), where power cuts, local pubs, soccer and sex meet. Since the Congolese popular constitution’s only article §15 says, to just get along, people find ways to fight destitution, be it by way of dreams or of internal or external migration, in search of a better life.
